The story of our farm.
As certified organic farmer/distillers we have two parts to our story. We are first of all, a small family run farm in the N.E. corner of Washington State. We have 8 acres certified in the middle of our 35 acre home place where we live and work with our daughter and grandson. We have a mixture of hilly open pasture land and wooded mixed specie habitat with multiple wild botanicals.
We also have 60 acres of certified organic timberland at another site that provides us with a wild harvest of assorted conifers. It is an exceptional micro climate for sourcing Douglas Fir for our stills. We sustainably harvest young trees in a way that provides for long term forest health, using trees that would typically be thinned and discarded. The smell of our Doug Fir distillate is truly amazing, it’s the “forest in a bottle”.
We grow a variety of botanicals for our own distillations as well as contract preorders for other distillers.
We get to do all of this in the pristine and beautiful mountains of N.E. Washington and we love it!
